The PEAK relational training system is a language and cognitive training tool based on behavior analysis theory and relational frame theory. It is mainly used to help individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities improve their language, learning, and social skills, and is suitable for children aged 2-18. PEAK not only focuses on the direct training of verbal behavior but also helps individuals establish more complex cognitive and language abilities through relational frame theory. Through systematic assessment and training, PEAK helps these individuals improve their language, learning, intellectual level, and social skills, promoting their better integration into society.
PEAK includes four modules: Direct Training Module, Generalization Module, Equivalence Module, and Functional Transformation Module, with a total of 736 skill options. Each module sets 184 training skill points according to the degree of difficulty. It is not only used to assess individuals' deficits in language, cognitive, and social skills but also can formulate individualized education plans (IEP) for each individual based on the assessment results, thereby improving their language and social skills. PEAK points out the direction for more advanced verbal behavior teaching, provides teaching methods, and offers more comprehensive and higher-level verbal behavior assessment and training, enabling the training of language, cognitive, and social skills of autistic children to be extended from early childhood to adulthood.
