发布时间:2025-09-08

To deepen educational cooperation, strengthen international communication, and further improve teachers' teaching capabilities and the center's school-running quality, Ms. Mary Lou, Director of the Curriculum Development Department, and Mr. Vincent Qiu from the delegation of Holland College (Canada) visited Bairun Children's Behavioral Rehabilitation and Training Center in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang for exchange and observation on March 13, 2025.

Accompanied by the Center's Teaching and Research Department, the delegation from Holland College gained an understanding of the center's basic information, school-running characteristics, and other aspects through the center's promotional video and honorary plaques.

Subsequently, under the guidance of the head of the Teaching and Research Department of the center, the delegation visited the center's hardware facilities, including group class classrooms, situational classrooms, sensory integration training rooms, assessment rooms, large-class classrooms, and individualized intervention rooms. Meanwhile, the center introduced to the delegation the development progress of its autism rehabilitation education work for children and its teaching-research achievements.

After the site visit, discussions were held on the intervention for children with autism. Combining cutting-edge research on autism, Ms. Mary Lou put forward new insights into autism intervention for children, providing fresh ideas for the center's autism rehabilitation work. Later, the center demonstrated to the delegation the operation of its online intelligent system and its assessment system. Ms. Mary Lou commented that these teaching-research achievements were quite mature and could practically contribute to the rehabilitation of autistic children.

During the R&D discussions, cross-cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign participants enhanced mutual understanding on autism education between the two countries, and promoted the improvement of academic research, teaching-research capabilities, and educational standards of both parties.

Finally, we would like to express our gratitude again to Ms. Mary Lou and Mr. Vincent Qiu for their long-distance visit. Their visit and exchange not only brought valuable international perspectives and cutting-edge concepts, but also provided the center with internationally advanced intervention methods and inspirations. This has played a positive role in promoting the development of autism education and deepened the friendship and cultural exchange and mutual learning between both sides.
