As a member of the Provincial Standardized Training Base for Rehabilitation Professionals (Autism) under the Jiangxi Disabled Persons’ Federation system, Bairun Education has trained over 1,100 autism rehabilitation professionals since 2021. The trainees cover personnel from Jiangxi’s medical rehabilitation system, designated autism service institutions under the disabled persons’ federations at all levels, teachers from regular primary and secondary schools, teachers from special education schools, and parents of autistic children. The course content includes skill-based modules such as autism skill assessment tools, diverse autism intervention teaching methods, and guidance on inclusive education (students with special needs studying in regular classes).
To implement the Implementation Plan for the Autism Child Care and Promotion Initiative (2024-2028) jointly issued by 7 ministries and commissions including the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, demonstrate the social responsibility and commitment of the provincial standardized training base, and promote the high-quality development of grass-roots autism rehabilitation institutions, Bairun Education launches the "Bairun·Starlight Program" — a public welfare empowerment initiative for autism rehabilitation institutions. The specific plan is as follows:
I. Recruitment Criteria for Empowered Institutions
1.Quantity of first-batch empowered institutions: 4
2.Service type of empowered institutions: Rehabilitation institutions focusing on autism/developmental delay (designated non-profit service institutions under the disabled persons’ federation system).
3.Scale requirements for empowered institutions: Growing institutions with a basic assessment and teaching system (priority will be given to institutions in resource-poor areas).
4.Intervention philosophy of empowered institutions: Adopting an assessment system based on progressive ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) philosophy and a naturalistic developmental behavior intervention system.
5.Cost responsibility of empowered institutions: The empowerment is provided for public welfare (free of charge); empowered institutions shall independently equip themselves with online meeting system equipment.
