Since September, the Bairun supervision team has employed a blended online-offline approach to provide instructional supervision for staff in the Pediatric Health and Rehabilitation Department of Shangli County Maternal and Child Health Hospital. This initiative delivers cutting-edge and highly effective intervention techniques to rehabilitation department personnel. Offline training sessions offer concentrated, efficient problem-solving for critical issues, while online supervision provides ongoing support to promptly address challenges encountered by rehabilitation staff during practice, ensuring maximum learning outcomes.
On November 14, the Bairun supervision team traveled to Pingxiang to conduct the first-phase assessment and launch the second-phase in-person training.
On the first day, supervisors comprehensively assessed the current status and professional needs post-first-phase supervision through on-site observations, review of teaching records, and staff interviews. This was followed by standardized written and practical assessments.

Over the next two days, the second-phase in-person training unfolded. The supervision team designed a customized training program, employing diverse formats including theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations, and scenario simulations to help rehabilitation department staff master advanced rehabilitation education concepts and teaching methodologies.

This supervision and training initiative not only enhanced the professional capabilities of staff in the Child Health and Rehabilitation Department of Shangli County Maternal and Child Health Hospital but also injected new momentum into the development of local autism rehabilitation education.
Participants unanimously expressed that the training not only updated their educational perspectives and equipped them with practical teaching strategies but also strengthened their commitment to autism rehabilitation intervention.
We will continue monitoring and supporting the department's development, with phases two and three of supervision proceeding as scheduled to consistently elevate local autism rehabilitation services.
Let us collectively anticipate that, guided by professional expertise, the services of the Child Health and Rehabilitation Department at Shangli County Maternal and Child Health Hospital will reach new heights, bringing hope and positive change to more children with autism and their families.
