From Frontline Teaching to Award-Winning Research: Our Work Shines a Light on Children with Autism

To implement the spirit of the “Implementation Plan for the Autism Care Service Promotion Initiative (2024-2028)” jointly issued by the China Disabled Persons' Federation and six other ministries, advance pilot initiatives, and strengthen academic exchange in autism research, outcomes dissemination, and experience summarization.

On October 23, 2025, the “Second Round of Jiangxi Province's First Academic Exchange Event for the Autism Care Service Promotion Initiative,” hosted by the Jiangxi Association of Persons with Mental Disabilities and Their Families, was successfully held at Yuzhang Normal University. This event aimed to advance academic exchange and practical development, providing more scientific and systematic support for children with autism and their families. Our teaching and research team members Zheng Hanzhou, Liu Dan, Zhang Yiping, and Jiang Yurong received awards for their submitted papers and presented their findings at the event.

These four faculty members demonstrated outstanding performance in the first round of the “Call for Papers on Autism Care Services,” achieving remarkable results! Their papers stood out among numerous national submissions, fully reflecting our faculty's professional expertise and research capabilities in autism rehabilitation education.

Teachers Zheng Hanzhou and Zhang Yiping won First Prize for their paper “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Assistance on Life Satisfaction Among Individuals with Autism: An Ordered Logistic Regression and SEM Model Approach.”

Teachers Liu Dan and Jiang Yurong received Second Prize for their paper “Factors Influencing Language Communication Outcomes in Children with Autism and Teaching Strategies for Dialogue Skills.”

Moving forward, our university will continue to support faculty in educational research, promote the application of research findings, and continuously enhance professional standards. We are dedicated to contributing more wisdom and strength from Jiangxi's special education community to advance the cause of education for children with autism!
