To better support families of children with autism, a public lecture for parents of children with autism and related developmental disorders was held at Nanchang Bairun Training School on the afternoon of December 16, 2023. The training session featured internationally certified behavior analyst (BCBA) Teacher Xiao Bai. Known for her professional rigor, Teacher Xiao Bai delivered an accessible and easy-to-understand presentation that seamlessly integrated theory with practical application, offering highly actionable insights.

The session provided detailed guidance on rehabilitation techniques for children with autism, addressing issues such as frequent challenging behaviors, limited social skills, reduced spontaneous speech, and weak logical thinking. Through theoretical explanations, demonstration exercises, and live Q&A sessions, complex concepts were made concrete and practical, offering parents valuable learning opportunities and a platform for exchange.

Center instructors shared several children's rehabilitation case studies centered on the lecture's theme, demonstrating how theoretical knowledge yields tangible outcomes in practical rehabilitation work. They encouraged parents to overcome negative emotions and provide greater encouragement and support to their children throughout the rehabilitation journey. This public lecture saw enthusiastic participation from parents, creating a lively atmosphere where attendees listened attentively. During the Q&A session, parents raised challenges and concerns encountered during home rehabilitation training, to which instructors provided patient and detailed responses.

Parents unanimously expressed that this lecture proved highly rewarding, not only enhancing their understanding of home rehabilitation techniques but also strengthening their resolve to continue their children's rehabilitation journey. Throughout the learning process, they connected with other families, exchanging experiences to better educate and guide their children toward healthy, joyful development. This public welfare training lecture concluded successfully. In 2024, Teacher Xiao Bai's team will serve as the center's supervisory team, working together to create a brighter future for children with autism.
