On the afternoon of December 5, 2025, Lei Zhaohui, head of the Provincial Party Committee's 9th Inspection Team, accompanied by Rao Dongmei, Party Secretary and Chairperson of the Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation, visited the Bairun Children's Behavioral Rehabilitation Training Center in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City. Zuo Zhide, Party Secretary of Jiangxi Management Vocational College, and his delegation accompanied the inspection.

Under the guidance of Zheng Hanzhou, Secretary of the Center's Party Branch, the delegation toured the center's overall facilities, including individualized training rooms, group activity rooms, assessment rooms, and multi-functional rehabilitation areas. During the visit, the leaders inquired in detail about the center's staffing arrangements, number of children enrolled, curriculum system, and rehabilitation outcomes. They expressed recognition of the center's standardized and professional rehabilitation service model.

In the individual training room, the leader paused upon seeing the teacher diligently writing rehabilitation records. He engaged in a cordial conversation, inquiring in detail about the grassroots rehabilitation teacher's responsibilities, training support, daily teaching challenges, and the progress of the students' rehabilitation. The leader emphasized that rehabilitation teachers play a vital role in supporting the growth of children with autism, and their professional competence and dedication deserve respect and support.

During the inspection tour, the delegation encountered a parent waiting for their child. The leader approached proactively and inquired attentively about the child's current intervention progress. The parent shared with evident emotion the remarkable changes observed in their child, Bairun, following the center's intervention: “Bairun's experience here differs significantly from the teaching model at the previous rehabilitation school. In a short time, his awareness of rules and social skills have both improved.” Hearing about the child's progress under Bairun's intervention, the delegation expressed deep satisfaction. They encouraged the parent to maintain confidence, actively cooperate with the rehabilitation plan, and urged the center to continue providing excellent rehabilitation support services.

As they passed through the parent activity area, they happened upon the center's monthly parent wellness workshop in progress. Over a dozen parents were weaving flower baskets under the guidance of instructors, easing their physical and mental stress. The leaders paused to observe and quietly inquired about the event's organization. The center's Party branch secretary explained that this activity aims to provide psychological support and respite services for families caring for children with autism long-term. Running for over a year, it has become a vital platform where parents offer mutual support and draw strength from one another. The leaders nodded frequently in response, expressing approval for the center's approach of prioritizing the holistic well-being of families and extending its service network.

Following the inspection, the leadership fully affirmed the center's achievements in the rehabilitation of children with autism. They emphasized that autism rehabilitation is a social undertaking requiring long-term commitment, compassion, and patience, deserving greater attention and support from society at large. The center should continue leveraging its professional strengths, guided by the policies of the Party and government, to continuously enhance the quality of rehabilitation services, thereby helping more children with autism improve their abilities and integrate into society.
All staff members at our center are deeply inspired and have expressed their commitment to seize this opportunity. We will continue to uphold the principles of “acceptance, respect, care, and innovation” alongside “scientific assessment and precise intervention.” We will diligently advance all our work to provide higher-quality, more compassionate rehabilitation services for children with autism and their families. We are dedicated to contributing to the advancement of special education and social integration initiatives in our province.
