As the holiday bustle gradually subsided and the campus returned to tranquility, the learning enthusiasm of all teachers at Bairun Education continued to intensify, reaching a fever pitch. During this valuable period of rest and reflection, Bairun Education gathered all faculty members for an in-depth and practical internal training session, launching a new year of professional growth. This initiative builds a solid foundation of expertise to ensure a smooth start to the new semester's educational endeavors.
This internal training program closely aligns with the core needs of special education, systematically advancing around two central themes: “Enhancing Professional Skills for Shadow Teachers” and “Deepening Foundational Theoretical Knowledge.” It serves not only as a systematic consolidation and profound reflection on past teaching practices but also as a precise refinement and comprehensive upgrade of future special education service quality. This initiative underscores Bairun Education's unwavering commitment to deepening expertise in special education and empowering teacher growth.

With the widespread adoption of inclusive education principles, an increasing number of children with special needs are gaining access to mainstream schools, embarking on a new journey of integration into the classroom and embracing growth. However, how to help these children truly adapt to the school environment, integrate into group life, and enhance their social skills has become a shared challenge for parents, schools, and education professionals. In this process, shadow teachers serve as vital bridges connecting children with special needs, their families, and schools, playing an indispensable key role.
During this training session, the Bairun Education teaching and research team addressed frontline teaching challenges by conducting in-depth analysis, debriefing, and hands-on guidance on core topics including shadow teachers' workflows, scientific accompaniment techniques, and emergency response protocols. Trainers emphasized that shadow teachers' responsibilities extend far beyond mere “accompaniment,” encompassing multiple roles: classroom order facilitators, home-school liaison officers, and emotional stabilizers for children with special needs. Through real-case dissection, live simulation exercises, and group discussions, participants collaboratively explored “how to step back appropriately and practice scientific letting go during assistance.” This approach effectively prevents excessive dependency in children, empowering those with special needs to transition from “assistance-dependent” to “self-reliant.” Ultimately, it helps them achieve the core goals of independent school integration and autonomous growth.

Rehabilitation interventions for children with autism require both a solid theoretical foundation and flexible practical skills, which are the key focus areas of this training program. The “Advanced Foundational Theory” module centered on the core of behavioral analysis—reinforcement and consequential relationships. Instructors from the teaching and research team guided educators beyond superficial understandings of “rewards and punishments,” delving into the dynamic connections between antecedents, behaviors themselves, and consequences. This approach helped teachers establish a scientific foundation for intervention practices.

Through group discussions, case reviews, and idea exchanges, the teachers gained profound insight: behind every challenging behavior lies an unmet need of the child. Professional special educators must not only observe the visible behaviors on the surface but also dive beneath the surface to understand the child's needs and unravel the underlying confusion behind their actions. Whether building foundational skills or advancing higher-level abilities, educators must approach each unique life with utmost patience, apply scientific strategies, and safeguard every special life with professional expertise.

The intensive internal training during the holiday period served not only as a comprehensive exercise in honing professional skills but also as a reaffirmation and commitment to our founding educational mission. Through this in-depth learning focused on “shadow teacher professional competencies” and “advanced foundational theory,” all educators at Bairun Education further solidified their professional foundations and enhanced their practical capabilities. This has laid a solid groundwork for delivering high-quality shadow teacher accompaniment services and autism rehabilitation interventions in the new semester.
Empowering teachers is the key to empowering children. There are no shortcuts on the path of special education—only steadfast dedication, continuous learning, and relentless growth. Bairun Education remains steadfast in its mission: “To illuminate every unique life with expertise and compassion.” We walk alongside all educators on their journey of professional growth, helping every child with special needs better integrate into school and society, and discover their own path to growth and radiance.
This February, we at Bairun have been gathering strength and refining our growth. As spring blossoms and warmth returns, we stand ready with greater professionalism and renewed passion to accompany our children as they embrace the sunshine of a new semester and courageously pursue their own bright futures.
