A delegation from the Canada's Holland College visited Guangxi College for Preschool Education
to jointly promote Sino-foreign cooperation in early childhood education and autism education

Recently, an international education delegation comprising Doug Currie, Vice President of the Holland College; Vincent Qiu, Head of the Asia Division; and the founder of Bairun Education visited the Guangxi College for Preschool Education. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen cooperation and exchange between the two institutions—one from China and one from Canada—in the fields of early childhood education and autism education, and to jointly promote the internationalization of these educational programs.

In the school’s second conference room, President Wen Ping of Guangxi College for Preschool Education extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the school and provided a detailed overview of the institution’s background, educational philosophy, and the significant achievements it has made in recent years in the fields of early childhood education and autism education.

Subsequently, Doug Currie, Vice President of the Holland Education, provided an overview of the development and history of the college’s various programs and expressed high praise for the efforts and contributions of Guangxi College for Preschool Education in the fields of early childhood education and autism education. He noted that the Holland College would engage in international cooperation with Guangxi College for Preschool Education in two programs that rank first among post-secondary institutions across Canada, underscoring the college’s commitment to Sino-Canadian collaboration, and expressed his hope that both institutions would achieve even greater success in the internationalization of education.

Following the symposium, in the presence of representatives from all three parties, the two schools signed an agreement on a Sino-foreign cooperative education program, marking the beginning of closer and more practical cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of early childhood education and autism education.

During the visit, the delegation toured the Center for Children with Special Needs at Guangxi College for Preschool Education. Led by Professor Guo Dehua, Dean of the College of Special Education, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the college’s practices and innovations in autism education. The delegation then visited the Guangxi College for Preschool Education Experimental Kindergarten and the Early Childhood Education Training Base, where they gained further insight into the college’s educational philosophy and achievements in early childhood education.

This visit not only provided a platform for in-depth exchange and cooperation between the two institutions, but also laid a solid foundation for the implementation of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in early childhood education and autism education. As a bridge between the two institutions, Bairun Education will continue to play an active role and provide strong support for their exchange and cooperation.
