On March 21, 2026, the Yichun Starlight Children’s Growth Service Center and Bairun Education formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Guided by the principles of professional collaboration and cooperative education, the two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in the field of rehabilitation services for children with autism to jointly improve the quality of regional rehabilitation services.

Coinciding with the 19th World Autism Awareness Day, a professional supervision team from Bairun Education traveled to Yichun to conduct a free specialized training session for parents of children at Starlight. This initiative aims to extend professional rehabilitation guidance from the institution to the home, thereby establishing a collaborative support system between families and the center.

The training session was led by Teacher Hu Die, a senior supervisor at Bairun, who delivered a systematic presentation centered on the integration of home-based and facility-based interventions, tailored to the practical needs of family-based rehabilitation. During the session, Teacher Hu provided an in-depth analysis of common pitfalls in home-based interventions—such as over-assistance, delayed reinforcement, giving in to tantrums, and isolated training—using real-life case studies to help parents reflect on their own practices and resolve practical challenges.

During the hands-on training session, Teacher Hu used instructional videos and demonstrations in a home setting to provide detailed explanations of strategies for addressing common childhood behaviors, making the intervention methods more intuitive and easy to implement. At the same time, she clarified the core principles of cognitive and behavioral interventions, emphasizing that the two are complementary and equally essential, thereby helping parents develop a scientific understanding of rehabilitation.

Through a combination of theoretical instruction, case studies, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions, the training program conveyed scientific intervention principles to parents and shared practical, actionable home-based intervention methods, empowering parents to better collaborate with the agency on rehabilitation efforts as part of their daily care routine.

The rehabilitation of children with autism relies on the collaborative efforts of institutions, families, and professionals. Moving forward, Bairun Education will continue to provide professional support to Yichun Starlight through teacher training, on-site guidance, and instructional evaluations. Together, the two organizations will deepen their commitment to the field of autism rehabilitation, using their expertise and compassion to safeguard the growth and development of every child.
