Working with Joy, United by Love—Bairun Education Joins Hands with the Special Education Class at Nanchang No. 28 Middle School to Celebrate May Day

发布时间:2026-05-02

As Labor Day approached, teachers from Bairun Education visited the special education class at Nanchang No. 28 Middle School Education Group (Qingyun Campus) to help students with special needs experience the joy and value of work. They led all the students in a Labor Day hands-on activity themed “Joyful Work, Love Alongside,” offering the children a special holiday gift through their companionship and care.

As the activity began, the classroom was transformed into a “hands-on learning workshop.” Under the guidance of teachers from Bairun Education, the students in the special education class quickly divided up tasks and got to work, launching a major classroom cleanup. Some stood on tiptoes to wipe the windows, leaving the glass spotless; others carefully swept the floor with brooms, making sure not to miss a single corner; while others carefully arranged the desks and chairs, organizing the classroom into neat rows. The children were full of energy and enthusiasm, their faces radiating a sense of dedication. Through their collective efforts, the classroom—which had previously been somewhat cluttered—was transformed into a brand-new space. When they saw the results of their hard work, the children’s faces lit up with proud, beaming smiles, and their pure joy touched every teacher present.

After the spring cleaning was finished, the hands-on spinach noodle-making session—full of the warmth of home—officially began, becoming the highlight of the event. Teachers from Bairun Education had prepared fresh spinach, flour, and other ingredients in advance, and patiently explained to the children how to extract spinach juice, the proper ratio of flour to spinach juice, and the basic techniques for kneading, rolling, and cutting the dough. Under the teachers’ step-by-step guidance, the children carefully poured the spinach juice into the flour, kneaded the dough little by little until it was smooth, and then practiced rolling it out and cutting it into strips. Though their movements were a bit clumsy, they were exceptionally focused. Parents in the audience also actively joined in, accompanying their children through every step—the parent-child interaction was both heartwarming and uplifting.

As bowl after bowl of steaming green spinach noodles was served, a rich aroma filled the air. The children sit together, savoring the meal they made with their own hands, their eyes brimming with joy and a sense of accomplishment. Each bowl of simple spinach noodles not only represents the children’s hard work but also embodies the care of their teachers and parents, allowing the children to truly understand the principle that “hard work pays off” as they enjoy the delicious meal.

This May Day labor practice activity broke free from the limitations of traditional classrooms, allowing students with special needs to develop life skills through hands-on practice, gain joy and confidence through collaborative work, and experience warmth and companionship through parent-child interaction. A representative from Bairun Education stated that the organization will continue to focus on the developmental needs of students with special needs, organizing more meaningful hands-on activities. With love and a sense of responsibility, they aim to support the growth of these students, ensuring that every child with special needs can learn through labor, experience personal growth, and celebrate one meaningful holiday after another.
