Warmly celebrate the birthday of the CPC

On July 1, 2026, the Communist Party of China celebrated the 105th anniversary of its founding. To thoroughly implement the work directives outlined in the State Council’s “15th Five-Year Plan for Education Development”—specifically, “to provide high-quality, inclusive special education and improve the care system for children with disabilities”—and to align closely with the national agenda for high-quality development in the cause of people with disabilities, Bairun Education organized the “Children’s Hearts Turn Toward the CPC” July 1-themed painting activity. Using art therapy as a medium, the event sowed the seeds of love for the Party and the country into the pure hearts of children with special needs. With their innocent brushstrokes, the children presented a heartfelt and unique gift to celebrate the Party’s birthday.
Art as a Bridge
Art therapy breaks down barriers to expression, while patriotic education is integrated into the rehabilitation setting.
For children with autism, verbal expression is often an insurmountable barrier to communication. Painting serves not only as an art therapy intervention but also as a vital window through which they perceive the world and express their inner emotions. This program breaks down the boundaries between traditional rehabilitation training and moral education, organically integrating patriotic education into daily rehabilitation instruction. Rehabilitation teachers, taking into account the children’s cognitive characteristics and ability levels, provide patient guidance and tiered support throughout the process, allowing the children to connect with patriotic symbols and develop a sense of national pride through the strokes of their paintbrushes.
At the art workshop, some children, with the help of their teachers, carefully filled in the background of the Party flag with bright red crayons and outlined the Party emblem stroke by stroke, building a concrete memory of the red symbol through fine motor skills training and color recognition exercises; others combined the Party emblem, balloons, and a blue sky in their compositions, using childlike strokes to sketch a beautiful scene of peace and hope; Still others depicted scenes of people walking hand in hand under the Five-Star Red Flag, conveying through their innocent perspectives a simple wish to walk together in warmth under the Party’s guidance. The entire creative process served not only as professional rehabilitation training but also as a subtle, subtle red education.
Using the Exhibition as a Medium
Children’s innocent artwork conveys sincere sentiments, while moral education practices highlight the warmth of rehabilitation.
On the anniversary of the founding of the Party, all the children’s artwork from this event was displayed in the center’s main hall. Vivid Party flags, gleaming Party emblems, dazzling fireworks, and a vibrant landscape… Through their unique perspectives and vibrant colors, the children depicted the purest blessings they hold in their hearts for the Party and their motherland. Though their brushstrokes are childlike and their lines simple, each piece embodies these special children’s unique perception of the world and is imbued with the most sincere respect for the Party and the nation.
This themed painting activity is a vivid example of how Bairun Education is implementing the requirements for the comprehensive development of children with special needs and innovating the forms of patriotic education for this special group. Drawing on professional approaches to art therapy, the event transformed abstract sentiments of love for the Party and the country into tangible, creative visual imagery. It allowed the children to express their emotions and appreciate beauty through free artistic expression, truly realizing the rehabilitative and educational values of “healing the heart through painting, nurturing the mind through beauty, and forging the spirit through virtue.” In doing so, it left a warm and profound imprint of the “red gene” on the children’s journey of growth.

Over the course of 105 years of trials and tribulations, the Communist Party of China has consistently integrated the cause of people with disabilities into the overall national development framework, promoted the comprehensive implementation of the rehabilitation assistance system for children with disabilities, and continuously ensured that this special group equally shares in the fruits of reform and development. As an educational institution deeply rooted in the field of autism rehabilitation, Bairun Education has consistently adhered to the principle of Party-building to guide the high-quality development of its mission. It actively responds to the work priorities outlined for the 15th Five-Year Plan period—namely, “improving the social security system and care service system for people with disabilities, and expanding the supply of urgently needed services such as rehabilitation education for children with autism.” By deepening its integrated rehabilitation-education service model, Bairun Education not only provides professional rehabilitation interventions but also continuously focuses on the spiritual growth and moral education of children with special needs, thereby supporting the comprehensive development of children with disabilities.
In the future, Bairun Education will continue to rally support from all sectors of society, constantly explore diverse approaches to integrating moral education and rehabilitation for children with special needs, and build broader bridges of care and support—so that every “child of the stars” can shine with their own unique light under the sunshine of the Party, in an environment filled with love and hope.
